Day-Out Cruise: Betty's Day-Out Cruise will be the highlight of your trip to Goa. This trip is so popular with our guests, that it is fully booked for more than 1 week in advance. If you are coming to Goa for a short trip (less than 1 week), it is advisable to book this trip before you start your journey. If you are coming to Goa for at least a week, then make sure you book it, the moment you land in Goa.

You can make an advance booking for the trip by calling us on 91-8322-871456 or 91-8322-871038. Cost of trip is Indian Rupees 750 (all inclusive). This translates to approximately 16 US Dollars or 12 UK Pounds. We also do special trips for parties and other special occasions, but would require at least 2 weeks advance notice.

Trip Itenary:

  10:00 AM : Cast off from the River Sal pier.

  10:30 AM : Reach the mouth of the river, and enter the Arabian Sea

  11:00 AM : Dolphin viewing in Arabian Sea (PLEASE NOTE: if conditions in the sea are rough, this portion of the trip will be replaced with an extended river cruise)

  12:00 AM : Enter River Sal, and start cruising upstream

  12:30 PM : Snacks (Garlic Prawns) Served

  01:30 PM : Lunch served (Fresh sea food, salads etc.)

  03:30 PM : Cruise returns back to the pier

The trip is all-inclusive. Unlimited drinks of your choice are served on the trip (both alcoholic / non-alcoholic). If you have special diet needs, please inform us when you are booking the trip. Fishing rods, baits are available on the boat for those who would like to try out a little fishing in the river. If you love to take pictures of birds, make sure you get a camera with a decent zoom as there are plenty of opportunities to take great pictures.

Once you are on the beach, you can choose to relax, swim in the sea, or take a look around. You can even catch a fish or two. The area around these beaches is teeming with fish and bird life. Don't forget to pack a camera. You can take some breath taking pictures.

We take you in a small boat at approximately 4 p.m. Cruising upstream, you will be taken up close and personal to the various birds that dot the river side. Binoculars are provided and our guide has expert knowledge of the surroundings. A camera with a big zoom is definitely recommended if you love taking pictures of exotic birds.

The boat eventually makes it way to the mouth of the river - just as the sun is setting down - making for a spectacular finish to your trip.
